This elegant restaurant serves breakfast lunch and dinner with tables outside for those who wish to dine al fresco.  Le Gouverneur is the bar at the centre of the hotel with the dominant focus being a spectacular fresco created by Vietnam based French Artist Roland Renaud. The menu focuses on lighter fare, with delicious Vietnamese salads, soups and pasta.

Hue is not only renowned for its Imperial history, but also for its cuisine and a highlight of any visit should be a cooking class with the Chef  who will help guests of create some of the traditional dishes  influence by Hue’s gastronomic history. A visit to a local market to experience the variety of local fresh produce on offer which is essential ingredients of this cuisine should not be missed.

The swimming pool overlooking the Perfume River is an inviting place in which to cool off after a day experiencing the history and culture of Hue, or head for Le Spa with its 7 Art Deco inspired treatment rooms and escape the pressures of life and discover a world designed to rejuvenate the mind, body & spirit with a selection of luxurious treatments.

Accommodation

This former residence of the French Colonial governor has been painstakingly restored to retain all the charms of art deco’s golden age, with the distinctive façade and nautical flourishes all hallmarks of the 1930’s Streamline Moderne School of art deco architecture. With just 122 rooms ranging from Superior through Deluxe, Colonial and Junior suites to the wonderful Resident suite with its separate sitting room and large terrace there is something to suit everyone. While each of the rooms boasts every modern convenience, the atmosphere of a bygone age has been carefully retained by use of local materials, art deco inspired design and careful attention to detail. Most of the rooms have views across the Perfume River to the imposing flag staff of the Citadel beyond.
