The remote Seychelles comprise 115 granite and coral islands which have to be some of the most fascinating and beautiful on Earth. Scenically, the Seychelles have always been suggestive of the original garden of Eden, and there is now the chance to enjoy this paradise through an exclusive collection of deluxe beach resorts and exotic private islands.

Soft white beaches, Coco de Mer palms and lush wilderness filled with unique flora and fauna mean that beachcombers and bird-lovers alike will love the Seychelles. With crystal-clear waters teeming with shoals of tropical fish, snorkellers and scuba-divers will find it difficult to discover anywhere better, and the deep-sea fishing is also world class.

Though what sets the Seychelles apart from every other destination is their sheer beauty, which really is unsurpassed.

You can choose to base yourself at one destination and relax and explore from there. Alternatively, many of our clients choose to island-hop, staying at two or three different islands – we will transfer you seamlessly from island to island, whether by helicopter, plane, catamaran or boat.

The rainy season runs from mid-November to mid-April, and most of the rain falls in the north and east of the country between December and March. The national average rainfall is 475 mm per year, but this varies greatly from place to place. The driest areas are in the Kalahari Desert, where annual rainfall can be as low as 100 mm. The wettest areas are in the northeast, where annual rainfall can exceed 1,000 mm.

Temperatures are generally warm to hot year-round. The hottest months are October to March, when average daily temperatures range from 29 to 35 degrees Celsius but can approach 40. The coolest months are June to August, when average daytime temperatures range from 20 – 25 degrees Celsius but minimums can go down to 2-3 degrees.

Rainfall is highly variable in Botswana, and droughts are a regular occurrence. In recent years, the country has experienced a number of severe droughts.
