Faru Faru Lodge in the vast 350,000 acre private Grumeti Reserve is the more contemporary of the 3 Singita properties in this area with views over a couple of popular waterholes and the acacia-dotted grassy plains.
Experience
In addition to the more usual safari game drive activities there are spa and gym facilities, ballooning can be arranged and the tennis and riding facilities at the nearby Sasakwa Lodge may also be used. The lodge is surrounded by the great migration, usually between late May and July, but also has good populations of resident game outside this season.
Accommodation
There are 8 suites including one suitable for a family and 1 two bedroom Villa suite suitable for 4 adults. Each air conditioned suite with indoor bath and outdoor shower has a reading area, a huge picture window, personal bar and fridge, a deck with Swarovski spotting scope, electronic safes, overhead fans, hairdryers, direct dial telephones and wireless internet access. The main lodge area offers a dining room, bar lounge with satellite television, DVD player and library, outdoor barbeque area and The Singita Shop.
