The game viewing at Lewa Safari Camp is outstanding and the location of the camp, with views to Mount Kenya to the south and the arid lowlands to the north, is awesome. 10% of Kenya’s Black Rhino population live here within the 65,000 acre wildlife conservancy of the Lewa Wilderness Trust.

Lewa Safari Camp is the only safari camp in Lewa that is actually owned by the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy and all the profits generated are reinvested back into the conservancy and the community so by visiting Lewa Safari Camp guests are making a big difference to the lives of 1,000’s of people improve their lives, the lives of their children and also conserving an important stronghold for both black and white Rhino and also the Grevy’s zebra, as Lewa is home to the single largest population of Grevy’s in the world. In addition to the usual game drives there are guided bush walks, horse riding, massages, bush breakfasts, sundowners, cultural village visits and even getting involved with the conservation side of the conservancy.
Accommodation
There are 13 ensuite, thatch covered tents with a veranda. The main areas have a swimming pool and spacious gardens to relax in during the day and the dining room and lounge have logs fires to take the chill off the cool evenings.
