The Farm at Cape Kidnappers is a supremely luxurious lodge set within a 6000 acre working sheep and cattle farm. The spectacular setting takes in an entire peninsular flanked by rolling pastures, a rugged coastline and beach with 600 metre cliffs and the world’s largest, most accessible mainland colony of gannets totalling 20,000.

In the nearby area there is trout fishing, scenic flights, hot air ballooning, Maori Heritage tours, paragliding, food and wine tours, kayaking and white water rafting. The dining experience is an important part of the experience and, as such, the rates include breakfast and also dinner.
There are 22 suites and a vast 4 bedroom ‘Owners Cottage’. Each suite features room-controlled air conditioning, high-speed wireless Internet, remote control flatscreen LCD TV, DVD, CD player with iPod connection, security safe, fully stocked complimentary mini-bar, walk-in closet, spacious bathroom with heated towel rack, separate WC and shower stalls, oversized bath tub and twin vanities. The ‘Owners Cottage’ also has a large living room, with a stone fireplace, generously-sized open-plan kitchen and dining area, 2 smaller sitting rooms, each with fireplaces, TVs and comfortable seating and an outdoor jacuzzi on the stone terrace.
